Does anyone have any idea what a hec are time ranges for in Omada controller? 

I am not able to use there anywhere in configuration...

 

My config:

TL-R605 + TL-SG2008P + EAP660HDs

We can create the time range under  Settings > Profiles > Time Range in Omada SDN Controller, then apply the customized time range profiles in WLAN Schedule and PoE Schedule. For more details about the configuration, you may refer to the UG of Omada Controller v4.3.5.

I'm afraid that it doesn't support setting the time range for ACLs in Controller mode at present. But it will be supported in the near future.

  @Norbert_123 This feature is still missing? After years of using other solutions for networking, I chose Omada for something a bit more "professional"...just to find I cannot setup access control using "Time Ranges" on LAN for specific MACs, IPs, Groups, etc...

No change. User cannot use defined timing for ACL...that sucks.

I think timed limit access is highly requested, I posted a similar requirement:
Time Range for Ports or Groups of Clients - Business Community (tp-link.com)

This is typical for a family home where you need to restict LAN Access at night...
