er7206 vlan setup without a switch not working
I have 2 vlans configured. 1 on port 3 (vlan2) and 1 on port 6 (vlan4) both have separate subnets assigned with dhcp enabled, but for some reason the device connected to ports 3 and 6 are still getting the LAN vlan ip subnet assignments. I changed the home vlan on ports 3 and 6 to their respective vlans and still not getting the correct vlan ip address from those ports.
the devices are just windows computers direct to er7206. no switches. I am doing this as a test before production deployment.

Hi there, it seems that you are using the Controller Software to manage one router and achieve the multi-subnet for the network. Cause there has no option to add PVID into the route's port so we can not achieve that function.
Fortunately, there will be a new firmware version coming soon, we can do that setting on the "Standalone Mode" of the router without a Controller. Only one router can do this thing. The official website also attach the FAQ: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/3061/
Just wait for several days and the new firmware will come soon.

Thanks for this.
So, this it will be not possible if the gateway are adopted into Omada SDN?
Thanks

@John1234 ok. For now I will try disconnecting from cloud sdn and restore to original factory settings and try setting it back up in standalone mode. I can always setup an rdp to software controller and access it that way for monitoring and setup until the update.

I do not think this multi-subnet functionality currently exists in standalone or under controller mode from the router ports. If you noticed the linked document it was updated yesterday. My guess is that document was updated in preparation for the new router firmware that is due to be released before June. It appears the multi-subnet functionality is going to be added in standalone mode and probably won't immediately be available under controller mode.
So don't knock yourself out trying to get it to work in standalone mode until the firmware is released.

@1207 you're right! This unit is not worth the effort when I can get the same functionality from a device brand that that is more stable and has it built in right out of the box, with firewall capability and I don't have wait another week for a firmware update. Thank you for the support..
