Hello,

I'm probably doing this wrong but wanted to use a CPE210 in Client Mode to connect to my AX1800 AP over it's wireless and then use the CPE210's LAN port to connect an ethernet device to the network in a remote location that's about 300 feet away.

Do I need to use a second CPE? I'm testing right now with the CPE on a desk about 10 feet away from the AP and every time the CPE connects to the AP it seems to connect, transmit for a bit, then both devices drop their wireless links, if I use a wifi analyzer app on my phone I can see my AP's 2.4Ghz signal disappear and then return a minute later.

I used the quick setup to put the CPE in Client Mode, gave it the SSID and password info and it looked like it's settings all matched what my AP is set up for. Are there other settings that need to be shut off or tweaked on the CPE?

@Trowa_Barton

Hi, is the Router 192.168.0.1 and CPE 192.168.0.254?

Have you enabled smart connect or airtime fairness on your Router?

We can try to disable smart connect and change the password of your 2.4G network and reconfigure CPE again.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

Hi there, The AP is set to 192.168.1.2, a different device is doing DHCP for the network on 192.168.1.1. The CPE is set to 192.168.1.10. smart connect and airtime fairness were off on the router.
