Avant d'acquérir un routeur ER605 un technicien support m'a assuré que l'option60 DHCP sur le port WAN était implémentée !

Or, je peux m'apercevoir qu'il ne s'agissait que d'un pur mensonge !

Est-ce de cette façon que vous comptez gagner des clients ???

Depuis plus de 2 ans il vous est demandé d'ajouter cette option !

Dommage... certains de vos concurrents sont plus réactifs...

Hello, Je ne pourrais être plus d'accord. 
C'est incroyable qu'une entreprise telle que TPLink soit si peu réactive sur ce genre de fonctionnalité. 
En ce qui me concerne, ma décision est prise: je cherche un remplaçant et j'hésite encore entre une passerelle Unifi d'Ubiquity ou le dernier routeur de Synology.

It's incredible that a company like TPLink is so unreactive on this kind of feature.

As far as I am concerned, my decision has been made: I am looking for a replacement and I am still hesitating between a Unifi gateway from Ubiquity or the latest router from Synology.

Alors si tu as eu un technicien de niveau 1 ça m'étonne pas, ils sont très gentils mais pas vraiment en maîtrise sur le plan technique. Le mec à coup sûr a pas compris que l'option 60 disponible pour les LAN n'avait rien à voir avec notre besoin d'une option 60 WAN. Pourtant, depuis le temps que ce topic est ouvert, ils devraient quand même connaître le problème !

 

Penses à ajouter ton vote en haut à gauche de cette page, ça valorisera encore un peu plus l'importance de ce sujet.

Tired of waiting for an hypothetical update (2 years is more than enough), I finally took the plunge and will replace the ER7206 with Synology's WRX560.

Why Synology? Because the configuration is relatively easy to replace the SFR router (French ISP) and I love their products which I have been using since 2007.

From Wednesday, if everything goes well, I will look for a new owner for the ER7206 and say goodbye to TP-Link

 

Too bad...

 

Update - 10/05/2023: Configuration was super easy. It took less than 5 mns to configure internet access including option 60 and remove the SFR router from my network.

Las d'attendre une hyptohétique mise à jour (2 ans c'est plus qu'assez), j'ai finalement sauté le pas et je vais remplacer le ER7206 par le WRX560 de Synology. 

Pourquoi Synology ? Car le paramétrage est relativement aisé pour remplacer le routeur SFR et que j'adore leurs produits que j'utilise depuis 2007.

A partir de mercredi, si tout se passe bien, je chercherai un nouveau propriétaire à l'ER7206 et dirai au revoir TP-Link.

 

MAJ - 10/05/2023: La configuration a été extrêmement simple. En moins de 5 mns la connexion internet était configurée (option 60 incluse) et le routeur SFR sorti de mon réseau.

  @Multiplex nah, I've lost all hope. I don't need the function but because of this lack of 'listening to customer demand' I'm considering to switch brands to Aruba or Unifi or something. 

I also need this option with my ISP in France. My ISP is SFR and he needs this option to assign an IP via his own DHCP server.

essential for some countries like France. It's very disapointing to have a full Omada solution and a router from another brand....
