The problem of monitoring the MAC addresses of devices connected to the TL-SG 105E ports.
Equipment used: Switch TL-SG105E Firmware Version- 1.0.0 Build 20191105 Rel.33503 Hardware Version- TL-SG105E 5.0 is connected to the UTP port of the upstream switch Aruba-2930F-48G.
The problem occurs when monitoring from Aruba-2930F-48G the MAC addresses of devices connected to the TL-SG 105E ports. The upstream switch on the port with TL-SG 105E determines, instead of a short list of MAC devices directly connected to the TL-SG 105E ports, a long list of all MAC devices from the TL-SG 105E MAC address table - "8K entry MAC address table of TL -SG105 / TL-SG108 with auto-learning and auto-aging ".
The problem is solved by reducing the functionality of the TL-SG 105E, by transferring it from "auto-learning" mode to "unlearned" mode. After turning off IGMP Snooping on TL-SG 105E, the upstream switch on the port with TL-SG 105E determines a short list of MAC devices connected directly to the TL-SG 105E ports.
Question to the developers: is it possible to solve the problem in the next firmware TL-SG 105E?
