Model: SG2210P
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 3.20.0 Build 20200730 Rel.32643

The switch calls every 5 seconds home. Omada is turned off. My Pi-hole is flooded with requests, 13 400 requests during few days.

All the requests from the Pi-hole going through the local Cloudflared proxy tunneling all the requests using DoH.

I didn't find any soluton on how to turn off all the requests. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ideally yes, but I find that is not how these things work.

The switch is primarily designed for the Cloud SDN and therefore will always look for management / configuration or adoption pending via the cloud.  Even in standalone mode its likely wanting / looking for management

Ideally there should be a setting to say "dont ever check for cloud management" to stop the packets being sent, but I have never seen that in other vendors either

I believe this is the switch looking for a cloud controller for Adoption / Registraton as part of the SDN.   I do not think this can be disabled on the device

Personally it doesnt bother me either, it is a SDN switch after all.

@Philbert

It is of a grate value for a switch being capable of both SDN or "offline" using web interface, thus if the switch at given time in the offline mode,

it should be in offline mode no home calls what’s so ever.

The description of TL-SG2210P stated that the switch is capable [not forced] being a part of the Omada SDN.

MANAGEMENT

Cloud Access         Yes (Through OC300, OC200, Omada Cloud-Based Controller, or Omada Software Controller)

Management Features     • Web-based GUI  • Command Line Interface (CLI) ect.
