Just updated to the latest OC200 a few minutes ago.
now it is stuck in this infinite loop of trying to adopt/ provision the R605 router.

@Rickk10000 sorry i do upgrade but not using any tplink router, for me is a different story it crashes my main oc200 v1 controller after the upgrade. while in my the backup controller running smoothly so far. I will try the recovery mode for my main controller today :) hopefully, it's not totally brick.

I havde the same problem, a OC200 with 1.7.4 and a R605 router, now I have a OC200 brick,
reset many times, tried power over POE and USB, tried both lan ports and nothing,
TP-Link writes lifetime warrenty on the OC200 box, let's see what that gets me.

Was the the update pulled back? I downloaded it the other day, but I went to dowload it again on a different computer and get the following:
"Please go to TP-Link Offical Website to get products, software and services for your region.
Visit official TP-Link website >"
When I go there 1.7.4 isn't listed.
I was planning to update the TL-R605 today, haven't added it to my system yet, but it looks like there might be problems, so I might wait..

Ran the update on OC200 and same issue. R605 is stuck in provisioning state. Granted I did not push the latest update to the R605 , and now that makes me wonder if there was something in the router's update that allowed for provisioning to the OC200 after the OC200 firmware was updated.
@Fae any help on this issue?
The R605 is still connected via the internet but no longer able to administrate the device with the Omada Controller

I remember I had the same issue when upgraded from 4.2.4 to 4.2.8 and resolved with a power off and power on of the gateway.

Rookie mistake , weird but still a mistake. Did not realize the username and password for the adoption was different. R605 now connects as it should. However, I am seeing the OC200 time out a lot with this latest firmware.

I got up this morning before anyone else so that I would minimized the whining if anything went wrong.
I rebooted the R605 Router (pulled the power cord) and the OC200 was then able to talk to it. I was using my cell phone ap to connect to the OC200. WHen it connected to the router, it told me that there was new firmware available for the router. I let it update the router and now all is fine.
It took the network down for a total of about 10-15 minutes, so be aware of that.

I have the same problem,
then I wanted to go back to version 1.7.3. but that doesn't work either.
the oc200 no longer works.
regarding problem TL-R605, i have also had this bad experience. after an upgrade, the router must always be disconnected from the power supply.
I am somewhat disappointed by the handling
