Implemented Request - Please add two factor authentication to the omada cloud managment.
Please add two factor authentication to the omada cloud management.
As a business solution security should be your number one priority. Right now if by some means an attacker would obtain login information to the cloud management console, the entire network becomes compromised. This is unacceptable and constitutes a high security risk.

Hi All,
I'd like to close this thread since 2FA has been supported from Omada Controller v5.0.
To enjoy 2FA, please upgrade your Omada Controller to v5.0 or later version. Cheers!
Add a screenshot of part of the Release Note for Controller v5.0.

Dear @Lgst,
Please add two factor authentication to the omada cloud management.

Thank you for your valued suggestion. I've forwarded this as a feature request to the product team for further evaluation.

Yes, two factor authentication is very important.
Now unifi was hacked and came with an email that everyone had to change password and activate two-factor, I see no reason why not TP-Link should also be hacked. now that routers have arrived, there is also much more sensitive information in connection with VPN, NO-IP config, etc. so far, I have taken my solution out of the cloud.

Hello, I absolutely agree with the others and I think that this is really important. I always use a two factor authentication.

@Lgst We have been requesting it for at least a year now. No movment on it. Unsure if they are ever going to include it which means I will not use it at all for a business.

Yes, it's planned and will be supported in the near future (controller v5.x).

We are now just at version 3.x.
So this means we will have to wait for it for years to come.
Until that time I only still recommend my clients other vendors than TP-Link.
I wouldn't want to be responsible for any hacking because of my recommendations!!!

@Lgst Does anyone know the timeline of this? MFA is a must and I can't believe it's still not working.
On another note - remote adoption would be amazing, or simpler site2site connection.
