EAP620 HD Missing Many 5GHz Channels
Hello,
Upon trying to configure my new EAP620 HD I see there are only four 5GHz channels available to select: 36, 40, 44, 48. All others are missing. It appears to be a bug.
The limitation is there whether I set it up standalone or if I adopt it into a Cloud SDN Controller. When channel is "Auto" I see it always picks these channels, never higher, so I am unable to design my wireless network as desired.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

It looks like I started this thread about 8 months ago. I recently upgraded all my firmware (EAP620HD v1 to firmware v1.0.4) and controller (v4.4.4) and I see that I still only have channels 36, 40, 44, and 48 available in the 5GHz band; e.g., DFS has not been added. I understood from you that this would have been added in Q2.
Could you please clarify what the issues are and what I can expect going forward? My older, cheaper APs all supported DFS which is becoming more and more important as the 5GHz band is filling up in busy areas. (where I live) This forces me to overlap my AP channels since I have only 1 effective 5GHz 80MHz BW channel.
Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the link. I'm not sure if I have the time to debug a beta firmware, but it's at least a good sign it's being worked on. I have EAP620HD v1, do you happen to know if the beta firmware applies to v1 or v2? (I'm not sure if they are compatible) I'm also EU.
@Fae, in a previous post you said that for EAP620HD v2, Controller v5, DFS channels would be supported. I have the EAP620HD v1; is it also the case that it will support DFS channels with Controller v5? When is that expected?

This firmware is for V1 device, I have used it for a while and have not any problem so far.
but its easy to roll back if you have any trouble. but I think that not will be necessary

Sorry that I have not been informed of the estimated date for EAP620HD V1 yet.
