Model: EAP225

Hardware Version: V3

Firmware Version: 2.7.0 20200113 rel.382

When attempting to add the EAP225 V3 (EU) access point to the Omada Software Controller V4.2.8 i get the following message,

"This device is not compatible with the current controller. To manage the device, update the device first."

I am running the latest release firmware on the EAP225 V3 (EU) out the box (version: 2.7.0 20200113 rel.382) and the firmware on TP-Links download center is backdated. 2017 and 2018.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

You have to upgrade EAP225 manually with this latest release:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/eap225/#Firmware

EAP225(EU)_V3_5.0.0 Build 20200918
