Tl-r605 omada controlled properly connected but non visible on Dashboard Omada SDN
Hi,
I've added the new TL-R605 (instead of old 600vpn) on my lan.
Omada SDN (I use hw oc200 as controller) found it properly, (it's always conneced) but on dashboard I can see only my EAP access point.
IN order to see also TL-R605 I have to made every day the speed test.
After this test, the router is visible.
Is there a way to avoid repeating the speed test all the time and keep the tl-r605 visible in the dashboard?
Thanks in advance
Matteo

I found the checkbox on Site Service to activate the periodic speedtest.
Thanks again for your quickly support.

This doesn't seem to work for me using a TL-ER7206 running firmware 1.0.1. No matter how I try to run the speedtest, it fails.
Are you using Omada Software Controller or Omada Hardware Controller, what's the controller version?
Could you please elaborate on the speedtest failed issue? Some screenshots might be helpful.

I'm using a C200 1.0 hardware controller, Controller Version: 4.3.5, Firmware Version: 1.8.0 Build 20210406 Rel.58757. The Gateway is a TL-ER7206 v1.0, running Firmware version 1.1.0 Build 20210512 Rel.48187.
I'm using the SFP+ port on the gateway, which connects using DHCP and a VLAN. The ethernet WAN port is diabled. Internet works reliably.
I have tried manually running the speedtest, this results in an error:
I have also enabled the periodic speedtest, as some users reported success using that, but that hasn't had any effect for me.

@Matte TP-Link support did a remote session today, I was pleasantly surprised that they would even go through the trouble to figure out this issue. It seems to have something to do with the speedtest configuration/speedtest API. They changed some internals and were able to run a speedtest. They also reverted the changes and it is broken again. I hope they gathered enough data to fix it! :)
