Hey Fergin
Rather than buying 2x SPF modules and the TL-SG2210MP, you might find its cheaper / better value to just buy a 16 or 24 port switch
Something like TL-SG2218 which is due out very soon although we have no exact dates yet

@Fergin When you are talking about PoE switches, you should understand, that it is much more expensive, than non-PoE. Difference between 8 and 16 port NON-poe switch is not so big, as between PoE models. That is why usually CCTV vendors have combo-ports, while tp-link doesn't want to implement combo-ports for gigabit switches, only for 100M (T1500-28PCT). That is sad and that is the reality, a lot of cases use copper RJ45 SFP modules with tplink 8-port poe switches. I use all 8 ports for cameras and I do not want to lose PoE port for connecting NVR, or smth like this.

Kind note: TP-Link SFP switch ONLY supports optical fiber on the SFP port, it doesn't support to use RJ45 module plugged into SFP port and then connect with a RJ45 cable, maybe you can give it a try but we cannot guarantee it can work well.

@Fergin thanks think I'll go for the 16 port, I already have unmanaged tp link switch's but looking for some compatible with my oc200
thanks for all replies

I just installed Extreme-branded 10/10/1000 Copper SFP into my TL-SG-2210MP. Works flawlessly, so the information that it only support optical SFP, or only 1GBit SFPs is actually wrong.
I did not test any speed below 1GBit though, as I have no need.
YMMV of course, it maybe down to the SFP.

Yes, of course. I have a fiber SFP in one port and a copper SFP in the other. I have fiber link between 2 houses and use the other SFP-port to get more copper ports since the 2210 only have 8 copper ports. I have not tried with 2 copper SFP in one 2210, but see no reason for it not to work.
I use Omada, and looking at the switch there's no extra info, just that there is link and configuring VLANs works as intended.
I can't tell if 10 and 100MBit works since I have not tried those speeds, but gigabit works fine.
Of course, there will be no PoE on the SFP.
