No internet access when connected to OpenVPN
Hi all,
I have a Client-to-Site VPN with OpenVPN running on my TL-R605. This works perfectly fine on my iPhone, however I can only connect to local devices. Access to the internet is not working and that is annoying since I have to disconnect from the VPN to access internet resources.
I read the documentation but nothing is mentioned regarding additional configuration to access the internet.
How I configured the VPN:

I have been able to test this week, strangely I had internet access this time around. One thing I couldn't see is to send all traffic through the vpn instead of local traffic, is it possible to edit the server config file to include redirect-gateway?

I connected to the OpenVPN server with my laptop.
Execute "route print" command and you will find the route tables.
I found that two routes were added, one is 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 go via OpenVPN Interface;
the second is 192.168.10.0 mask 255.255.255.0 go via OpenVPN Interface;
But 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 go via my ethernet adapter has a higher priority, so all the Internet requests are going from the Internet rather than the VPN.

@Fae it was brought to my attention by an TP-representative from the Netherlands, this problem might be solved in Omada 4.3. together with firmware upgrades for the omada hardware.
When will this version be available to the public?

Hi Gyus,
I have configure openvpn server and clients has 192.168.80.0/24
I think problem is with DNS resolving,
I can ping 8.8.8.8
C:\Users\peter>ping 8.8.8.8
Pinging 8.8.8.8 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 8.8.8.8: bytes=32 time=10ms TTL=118
Reply from 8.8.8.8: bytes=32 time=10ms TTL=118
but I can not ping www.sme.sk because following:
Users\peter>nslookup wwww.sme.sk

my ipconfig :

my question is why TPLINK configure DNS like this?
why there is no possibilty to configure dns by myself?
And why default second DNS is 8.8.8.8?
ANY answer from TPLINK?
