Hello,

I am trying to add a EAP225-Outdoor AP to an existing EAP225 V3 wired using mesh functionality. Omada version is 4.2.8 on Linux. When I connect the ethernet cable, I can provision it without issue.

The error is Adopt Failed. If I try again it ask for a different password. I tried the default one (admin/admin) and the current one for the other AP. After a few try, I get a No available uplink AP error. At this point I can't go further.

I reseted the AP many time (the outdoor one) wihtout success. I also try to provision it via ethernet, forget it, replug it without success.

Mesh funcitonnality is activated. I also checked the Channel Limit function.

I am using a Management VLAN and static IPs (maybe this cause problems??)

Thank You for your suggestion

Dear @EtRod_,

Please check the channel on the root EAP225, ensure it's supported by the EAP225-Outdoor.

For more details, please check this post.

Ok I went a little further this time.

I tried a suggestion found in another post.

I provisionned it on ethernet, then disconnected ethernet et reboot the AP. The AP then went in isolated state. From there I try to link to the other AP using the Mesh menu but it failed

@Fae

That was it... There should be an option to limit channel to regulatory channels in MESH mode for all AP not only Outdoor one...

Thank You very much
