Hopefully this can be fixed soon
Original Post:
I just added the TL-R605 Router to my home network, but now the clients list in SDN keeps most of the clients bouncing from Wireless to Wired connection, one minute, there is about 30 wireless client, which is correct, then the next minute, those 30 clients will report as being connected wired.
When looking at the event logs, i can see the clients constantly being disconnected from "LAN" on the R605 and connecting to a wireless access point (EAP245v3), then looping again.
My setup is as follows:
|---> Misc wired clients
Modem ---> (WAN) TL-R605 (LAN)---> Unmanaged Switch |---> Software Controller
|---> x3 EAP Access Points
Am i doing something wrong? What's throwing me off is that it does show correctly occasionally, but then it'll change within minutes to having most clients connected on Wired as opposed to Wireless. It's annoying because i cannot monitor the signal strength of the clients and monitor whether they are roaming correctly as they will often show as connected via wire in SDN. I'm open to suggestions, any help wold be appreciated.

Thank You. In this case I will wait for either beta or final release - whichever comes first :-)

Looks like a no go on the beta right now, they arent able to provide. Support stated the latest rpublic elease will fix this issue and should be available at the end of Jan.

The end of January is OK with me. I hope that TP-Link will also release a new firmware for TL-R605 router with easier integration to the existing network.

Dear @XC90,
Hopefully fixed soon. Currently at 443861 log entries and increasing rapidly as we speak 60 seconds later 444712 ...
Just to verify, are you using Omada Software Controller (Windows/Linux) or OC200?

@Fae Any update on this? I just got my TL-R695 router and unfortunately just upgraded my OC200 to 4.2.8 and yes been troubleshooting my setup and I found this very annoying. Hope the update will come very soon and Thanks!
My setup is
2x Wan
TL-R605
TL-SG108PE
4x EAP225-outdoor(US) v1
1x EAP110-outdoor(UE) v3
It though TL-SG108PE was the culprit because its not a SDN compatible switch but is there any way we can make it or some other smart switch compatible with SDN, like with firmware upgrade etc.
Anyways looking forward to the update again soon.

@Fae version 4.2.8 on HyperV. Currently logging rate is about 10.000 entries per hour.
Have the impression quality of the connections is impacted.
When is the next upgrade scheduled for release?

Eagerly awaiting 4.2.11 for the OC200, as I'm seeing similar issues with wired/wireless cilents. Is there an estimated date for its release?
