+1 for mDNS support!

 

Same here: I changed everything to TP-Link in 3 mid-size installations. 

And now I have to realize it doesn't support mDNS. 

This is everything else than "out of the box" or "business solution"...

one year on and still not seeing this feature deployed

i'm unsubscribing and using a different product

This should really be a base option in the routers firmware.

Unifi USG has it!

@Xstreem Hello,

We have consulted with the manufacturer TP-Link who has confirmed that it supports it:

"All Omada switches with FW higher than 2020/12 have mDNS enabled. Then an Omada deployment with switches supports mDNS."

Hello, it may be that the switches support this in "standalone mode", but not as soon as you use an Omada controller. And exactly the use of such is the reason why you buy Omada switches! 99% will use the switches with an Omada controller. I think it should come this request finally in a higher support level, you have here no idea! (To put it kindly). If there were "thumbs down" here, the number would quickly be in double digits.

@S-IB this function is at router level. I have anyway also an Omada switch and this is not supported. Why people from TP-Link don't show up here???
