@BubbaW I suggest you dont update. I was getting 300d/200u before the update and now I can barely get 20/20. Its super annoying and Im trying to figure out how to downgrade. Does anyone know if I just feed it the 2.21 firmware, if it'll downgrade without any problems?

@thermobee no issues here. I'd say it's on your end. 

@SebM Yes it was. I introduced a new router in front of the TP Link setup and I was having issues with the setup. I tried to turn off all settings to take variables out, but did not know that the WMM setting on the APs basically removes all the current modern standards if you unselect it. Which is the dumbest thing not communicate to the end user, but that's a whole other discussion.

I turned it on again and I am getting 450d/350u again. So its all good.

I'm new at this - quick question on the best way to update the firmware of EAP.  I have a EAP245V3 that I want to update.  I do have the Omada Controller software installed.  What is the recommended way to perform the firmware update?  I see I can go directly to the device and go to "Manage Device" section under the Config tab to do that.  But shouldn't the Omada Controller be the one doing the update through the Devices section?  I haven't figured out where to load the firmware update in Omada for that to happen (if that is even a thing).
