Model: TL-R600VPN
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1

Hello,

I bought a TL-R600VPN v1.1 router and now I'm in doubt if it supports a 300Mb WAN internet.

Someone can help me?

Thank you.

Dear @LucianSilva,

I bought a TL-R600VPN v1.1 router and now I'm in doubt if it supports a 300Mb WAN internet.

No, it doesn't. The TL-R600VPN V1.1 is a very old version, whose NAT Throughput is ~120Mbps only.

If your ISP provides 300Mbps bandwidth for you, you may consider a more powerful router such as TL-R600VPN V4.

Edit: the NAT Throughput can be found in the Product Datasheet, which can be downloaded from the official website.

Take TL-R600VPN V1 for example, https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/tl-r600vpn/v1/

I setup the TL-R600 recently and was getting terrible speedtests, 40 Mbps when I was getting 115 Mbps at the modem. I noticed that flow control was not enabled on the ports, so I enabled flow control on the wan and lan ports, immediately tested to 99 Mbps. Problem solved.
