Hardware Version: V7
Firmware Version:

Hi to all!

I want to buy the TL-R470T+ to balance and to failover 2 internet access in my home, I have a DSL modem and a 4G modem.

I want also to keep the actual IP addresses: in my home network, all the devices are in the same subnet 192.168.1.0/24.

The question is: with the TL-R470T+, it's possible to assign the following addresses to the ethernet ports?

LAN      192.168.1.1

WAN1   192.168.1.2     gateway 192.168.1.3 (DSL Modem)

WAN2   192.168.1.4     gateway 192.168.1.5 (4G Modem)

In this way, every device can  decide which gateway to use.

Thanks!

Ciao

@AntonioCaggese

It is not possible,

you have to set both WAN with different subnet, example: WAN1 2.1 - WAN2: 3.1 and assign the LAN port and DHCP Server to subnet 192.168.1.1 in order to maintain the original LAN of your modem.

Your new gateway will be the 470+.
