I run into the situation where my EAPs are showing offline on the controller, although the WiFi is working fine.
Any ideas why
@Sofortune, I bet they are shown as »Disconnected«, not »Offline«, right?
The EAPs still work since they are indeed online, but only disconnected from the controller.
Check the network connection, controller status etc. to find out why the EAPs have been disconnected from the controller.
@Sofortune, it's intentional that EAPs continue to work even if the connection to the controller has been disrupted for any reason, so no need to worry. It only becomes a major issue if you use a portal which is served by the controller. The the controller needs to run all the time.
If you don't use a portal and restart the controller later, the EAPs will re-connect automatically (could last a few minutes).
