Policy routing broken on TL-R470T+ v6??
I have w ISP's connected to the R470T+
WAN1 = 4G, Vodadfone
WAN2 = Wisp, Boundless
LAN goes to a USG (192.168.2.1) which splits to 2 subnets 192.168.1.0/24 and 192.168.2.0/24
I'm trying to force my Dell 3780 Laptop (192.168.2.206) only use the WAN2 Boundless connection to only test that connection.
But it always defaults to WAN1, the 4G...
This is what I've set up:
Link Backup is disabled.
When I do a CMD>Traceroute I get:
Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong here?

Hello,
How about changing the Mode from Priority to Only and Reboot the router?
Besides, ensure the Dell laptop is using the IP address 192.168.2.206, and test by other method such as WhatIsMyIP.com®

@Yannie Thanks for that, but didn't make any difference - wonder what the difference is between Priority and Only....
Seems like the Policy ignores (or doesn't know) the source IP address.
All I can see in the R470T+ Status>Traffic Statistics>IP Statistics is the 192.168.0.xx net.
I've tried changing the IP range, but it won't have it.
If I plug the DELL 3780 into port 4 (LAN) on the R470T+ and it gets assigned a 192.168.0.127 IP and if I change the Boundless group IP accordingly, then it works.
I guess having the USG (Ubiquiti Security Gateway) WAN port in between the R470T+ and my 192.168.2.xx subnet is the problem.
But I thought the source IP is included in the IP packet sent out via both devices?

Well, I believe it will show you what "Priority" and "Only" mean if you click the big "?" symbol at the configuration page of Policy Routing.

It seems that IP statistics would only shows the traffic in its LAN network range, I guess it's limited by NAT.

I thought the DELL laptop is directly plugged into the R470T+ on LAN port before. That makes sense then. When you connect DELL----(lan)USG(wan)----(lan)R470T+(wan)----Internet, the R470T+ actually communicates with the USG via WAN and then USG transfers the message to DELL via LAN, in other words, the R470T+ doesn't know where the 192.168.2.xx is located because of NAT from USG, thus we can get a coclusion that the policy routing rule doesn't take effect on the end-devices behind NAT.

if you click the big "?" symbol - dosn't help, no explanation is given
I thought the DELL laptop is directly plugged into the R470T+ on LAN port before. - no the Dell is plugged into the USG normally.
But works if plugged into the R470T+.
So yes, it a NAT 'problem' - but I can't find a way of getting the USG to pass the source IP through...

Not sure why you cannot embed the quotes. What I do is to click Reply on the post I want to reply, it shows this:
Then select Reply with quote on the right corner. It just quotes the message from the post I'm trying to reply.

Thanks,
But if I do that I get the whole lot in quotes - I guess you must have edited it before posting....
