Hi All,

My switch suddently stopped working which was powering a PoE camera (just one), with only one other cable going to the router.

I rebooting everything, reset the switch, and reduced it down to just one pc with a static ip. The pc says there is no network cable attached (doesn't matter what port). Then every few seconds, the pc detects the cable (without me unplugging anything), it seems to begin connecting, then all the lights flash on the switch and it goes back to claiming there is no cable attached.

Not sure if this is a common problem, and I couldn't find an easy way to contact TP-Link for an RMA replacement, so any help there would be appreciated.

I can't get connected to the switch, so checking things like the web interface and firmware version is impossible, the unit is less than 6 months old.

@Abean

Hello,

I rebooting everything, reset the switch, and reduced it down to just one pc with a static ip. The pc says there is no network cable attached (doesn't matter what port). Then every few seconds, the pc detects the cable (without me unplugging anything), it seems to begin connecting, then all the lights flash on the switch and it goes back to claiming there is no cable attached.

It seems that the switch has a hardware issue. I suggest you contact the store where you purchase it for an RMA replacement, which might be faster to replace it.

Not sure where you are located in, you may also contact the local TP support for some help, provide as much info as you can. Good luck.
