Days before today my USB wifi danger, tp-link wn822n stopped working at all. At that time I had an extra router tp-link wr 740n right around that time I decided to use in repeater mode and connect my PC to wifi using it.
My TP-Link router working as a repeater was initially becoming unresponsive every day. Initially, it will happen every time the D-Link router is restarted.
So, I felt that this channel is due to a mismatch. So I forced both of them to run on Channel 11. To prevent such mismatch in the future. It was 2-3 days after that and there were no problems.
But today TP-Link router (being used as a repeater) again became unresponsive. I had to reset the thing and reconfigure it to work again. What could be the problem?
Possible question-answer suggestions:
Why don't you buy a new router or adapter?
answer: No money to buy a new router/adapter.
Why can't you run a cable from the modem/router on your desktop, or transfer the modem/router to the same room?
answer. Can not run long cables at home. Even if the modem were to be moved, a longer cable would be needed to drive it across the house, due to the way the mainline entered the house.
Why don't you try switching the router?
answer: I did When the D-Link router was being used as a repeater, my PC received less than half the speed of our broadband connection. Switching routers, i.e. using TP-link routers where the repeater normalized the speed on the PC. The Dlink as the WiFi router gives the expected speed. If nothing works I will shut down the router, live with a slightly lower speed instead of disconnecting repeatedly.

It is off-topic, your adapter seems to be home product, please start the thread in SOHO Comunity instead.
