Hi Everyone.  I am looking to get WiFi outside in the garden at a reasonable level, without spending megabucks. Would the CPE210 do the job for me? The cable would need to be about 20m long from the router. Thanks in advance

Hi Green,

CPE210 is more suitable for long-distance wireless connection since it's equipped with directional antennas.

If you want to set up a Wi-Fi hotspot outside in the garden, it's recommended to use EAP Outdoor instead, such as EAP225-Outdoor and EAP110-Outdoor.

EAP Outdoor adopts Omni antennas, which is 360° direction.

Thanks for the suggestion. Is it relatively easy to set up?

EAP110-Outdoor and EAP225-Outdoor are very easy to set up. They have a built-in web UI and you just need to set the WLAN name (SSID) and encryption key at least.

See this video which shows how to set up an EAP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EheP64iNGw
