Hello
I'm doing a project using Access Point EAP225 and EAP115 on a client where there is no Switch POE,
So I will need to use the Passive PoE Adapter that comes with the products.
My question is, how many meters from the Access Point can I connect the PoE Adapter?

Ethernet is 100m maximum between two devices, like a router to switch, switch to EAP. If you put a POE injector at 50m, you still only have 100m from switch to EAP. The POE just adds power, it does not regenerate the Ethernet signal. e.g. switch----50m----POE injector----50m----EAP I wouldn't try these maximum distances unless your cabling is top notch.

50-60m is the usual number mentioned. This may vary if you use lower quality (CCA vs copper) or stranded vs solid. CCA = copper clad aluminum. Solid copper is best, stranded CCA will have the most loss and shorter distance.
