Hardware Version: V4

Firmware Version: 20150526

TPLINK 470T+ V4

Firmware Version:1.1.0 Build 20150526 Rel.71817s Hardware Version:TL-R470T+ v4.0

I am trying to forward port 1723 to an internal server. which is not working.

many other ports like 3389, 80, 5900 etc are being forwarded without any issue on same server.

but i am facing this problem only on port 1723, which is not being forwarded.

basically, 1723 is required for windows builtin vpn server.

i also tried the same on another server, there too only 1723 is not being forwarded.

suggestion please.

It seems that R470T+ V4 can upgrade to V5 through upgrading the V5 firmware. You can try to upgrade.

Hey Andone thanks for reply. i tried updating the firmware as per your link and i got error "Unmatched firmware version. Upgrade failed." :((

Sorry that maybe I get the wrong information.

For port 1723, you can check if it's blocked by your ISP. Some ISP may block this port. You can connect a PC to the WAN port, and set up static IP address for the PC and WAN port. Then try to access WAN IP+ port 1723.
