Hi all.

After many problems with computers and mobile inventory laser gun (motorola mc32n0), i'm have to setup all my wifi network to encryption "TKIP".

If i setup "auto or AES"  = impossible to have a good and constant signal.

Since i have configured "TKIP" on wifi definition in oc200 and computer and portable device = no problem (in 2.4 and 5 ghz).

Any information on that ???

On what? Latency? Throughput?

If you use TKIP cipher or WPA/WPA2-mixed encryption, max. WiFi rate is limited to 54 Mbps.

802.11n requires WPA2-AES for rates above 54 Mbps.

On what ???

- Wifi is up but ping was not ok or 1 on 4

- on reboot ap working for 2 or 3 hours and after nothing. Connection really unstable.

Since the wifi configured WPA2/personnal/TKIP = no problem.

My problem is no Throughput, but just stability. Same behaviour in 2.4 or 5ghz.

The major problem was that i'm not sure the problem is due to firmware upgrade. The wifi infrastructure is setup since more than 1 year and on first configuration i think it works well.

I've made some test but this infrastructure was for production and even now we work 24/24 7/7 so i cannot downgrade all for test.
