Model: EAP225
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

I currently am bringing a VPN between two sites with wireguard and raspberry pi boxes similar to https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/questions/106176/how-to-bridge-an-access-point-with-a-remote-network-by-wireguard-with-the-use. I want to upgrade the client site to EAP225s. Is there any way to recreate this setup with the EAP controller?

@pgcudahy, see my HowTo for creating a guest network, it describes how to assign different SSIDs to different subnets (method 2 applies).

@pgcudahy, EAPs are just access points, not routers, so no, they don't support wireguard which operates at layer 3 and thus needs routing.

You could connect EAPs to your RasPi's subnet used as a VPN. You could even map an additional SSID to this subnet using VLANs. But you cannot terminate the VPN on an EAP.

@R1D2 Is there a good guide anywhere on how to assign separate SSIDs to different subnets?
