Model: TL-ER5120
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.8 Build 20140212 Rel.36037

Hi,

when I connected my computer via the cable modem directly, speedtest shows the correct download/upload speed my provider supports. It is 500Mbps down and 50 Mbps up.

When I am connecting via TL-ER5120 and the cable modem in bridge mode, it is "only" 200 Mbps down and still 50 Mbps up. At the moment I do not have a second connection, so only one WAN port is active and no routing/balancing is configured.

I don't see any settings which could limit the download.

What can I double check to have the full 500Mbps down?

best regards,
Bernhard

@Bernhard42

In ER5120 V2 datasheet, it shows NAT Throughput: 350Mbps.

Please note that NAT throughput will determines download speed. So you cannot get 500Mbps. And 350Mbps may be tested in professional environment. So in actual network may get 200-300Mbps.
