EAP245 doesn't work on firmware newer than 2.2.0 Build 20190530 Rel. 56122
Setup: two EAP245 V3's and an EAP225-Wall V2 managed by a controller running 3.2.6.
One of the EAP245's has never been stable after updating the firmware. If I remember correctly it had 2.2.0 Build 20190530 Rel. 56122 out of the box and while another identical EAP245 bought at the same time has run several versions up to the current latest (2.4.0 Build 20200117 Rel. 39932) the problem unit can be upgraded but will drop wifi and not pass DHCP client requests (probably other network services are broken but it's connected so briefly that it's hard to tell).
Both EAP245's have exactly the same configuration. I have tried factory resetting the problematic unit and re-adopting but it's still them same.
The firmware upgrade itself works fine. When it reboots clients will connect for a few seconds then drop. I can sometimes get a slightly more stable connection if I allocate a static IP address.
I've raised a ticket with TP-Link UK support but with the craziness going at at present I'm not sure when it will be answered so I thought I'd try the community for some ideas.
