It is possible for CPE 510 to maintain a latency not higher than 50ms, under 8kms distance?
with very good line of sight (rural area)? this is for gaming purposes requires not more than 100 ms to play fairly. TIA

@NAJIV, you cannot guarantee latency times in a shared, half-duplex medium. It's possible to minmize latency down to 1ms using special devices which create a full-duplex-like wireless link using 4 radios, but those are very expensive (~3,000 to 4,000 USD for a pair of APs).

@R1D2
what if I'm going to use a bridge?
I'm thinking of using CPE 510 as bridge, but I have read it from one of your post that directional atenna is not good as bridge. if not what can you recommend as bridge?

@NAJIV, »Bridge« mode on CPEs is just a repeater mode which will cut throughput by half and increases latency even further since every data packet received on one side of the bridge (in client mode) needs to be repeated at the other side of the bridge (in AP mode) and vice versa. Standard WiFi gear is just not suitable for those games which need a guaranteed low latency.
