Model: CPE510
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Since this is an outdoor installation, I will need to use indoor/outdoor cable. I am having trouble finding shielded cable, so I was wondering if I could just us the indoor/outdoor with a copper wire running alongside for grounding purposes. Anyone see a problem with this? For a simple ground wire of 22 gauge or heavier should work.

FYI, using combo of CPE510 and EAP225 to build mesh network.

@Byteguy, I use UBNT ToughCable which is UV-resistant, uses 24 AWG conductor pairs (solid wire) and has an additional 26 AWG ESD drain wire. The small-size TC-CON connectors fit perfectly into the connection shaft of CPEs and EAPs. This cable is more expensive than standard patch cable, but properly shielded and weatherproof. I even use it indoors for PoE connections.
