I think you need to confirm with your ISP, which dialup mode need to be set. For example, your ISP uses PPPoE, then ER6020 need to use PPPoE for WAN when your modem is bridge mode. When you make the modem as NAT mode, it become a router. So ER6020 will get the IP address from the modem.

Hi Andone, I understand what you mean, but I have the WAN port of the ER-6020 configured as Dynamic IP there is not other configuration, if I change to PPOE like you said the provider should have to provide me more information.

 

Othe think is that I plug  that wan cable to a standard  TL-WR841HP home router and ir worked fine  in bridge mode but not the same way to the ER-6020.

When you use TL-WR841HP, it can work normally. Did WR841HP use dynamic IP as well? If yes, please confirm if your ISP will identify your MAC address, I mean maybe consider whether need MAC clone.

@Andone yes the TL-WR841HP  works fine with dynamic IP , same standar configuration.

 

I am no sure if my ISP will identify the mac address  I will ask.
