When i press connect on my smart phone it searches and then i get a message failed to obtain ip address can anybody help me out please.
Do you mean when you connect to the EAP, you cannot obtain an IP address successfully?
EAP is an access point not a router, I think you can check the router in your network. Besides, please check if you EAP connects well to the router.
When your EAP connects and work well, your clients will work normally when they connect to the EAP.
