EAP245 Mesh not working
I bought two EAP245 APs, and am attempting to mesh them together. They were advertised as Mesh ready, so i am trying to get them to mesh together. I adopted the first AP and enabled mesh, but when plugging in the second AP, the controller will not detect the AP as an isolated AP and allow meshing. Is there something I am missing to enable meshing the APs together?
Thanks in advance.

@forrest its been a year. Still no firmware support for mesh. For everyone on this thread waiting for this advertised support it is time to file an FTC complaint and class action lawsuit.

Are There issues with the tested firmware?
I am still waiting for the mesh update, because the AP's are useless at this time (almost a year by now)

Hello
I bought EAP245 specifically for mesh functionality, had them for a while and finally got some time to configure them. How dissapointed I was to notice that Mesh is not available. TP-Link, any updates here? Is there a beta firmware we could help and test?
Thanks,
Stan

It is a shame an upgrade is not available. I am also waiting to include 225 outdoor via mesh with 245 wired ap's.

For unknown reason, the official firnware for EAP245 mesh is still not released. But tp-link made a beta firmware for mesh experience, I received one from tp-link support already, you can also try it. Follow the link below to get the contact info from your region.

Thank you very much. I created a ticket and got the beta firmware within 5 minutes (!). Had to downgrade the OC200 but everything is working well now. EAP225 outdoor is now wirelesly meshed with EAP245 access point. Very pleased with the support from TP-link.

Is the official mesh support abandoned?
We've been waiting for too long. I don't want to run beta firmware on a business unit. I can't do that for a professional network environment. I would have to agree to all kind of compromises that I don't want to agree to.
@TP Link:
Please update or tell us straight it's abondoned so we won't keep hopes up.

it's a really shame the official answers here, 1 year to finish a firmware? maybe we have to look another brand, at youtube a youtuber answered faster.
Have an 245us and can't combine with an 225US outdoor flashed by mistake with an CA firm... so... I will sell them.

If I read this right: you have accidently flashed one of your AP's to a firmware with a different region.
I don't see reason you can't flash it back to the original region. You might have to do that in stand alone mode with web interface but it should work.
