Router tl-er5120 Max clients allowed
Hi, i have 1 5120, 1 480+ and 2 470+, the specs say 120k, 30k, and 10k max sessions but how many clients ? If i think in 100 sessions per user, a get 1200, 300 and 100, so if i have a campus with 1500 users i can use tp-link producs?

I think there should be more than 100 sessions per user. It's related to the application you used.
For 5120 V3, it should be up to 300 clients. R480T+ V9 should be up to 50 clients. R470T+ V6 should be up to 30 clients.
If you have 1500 users who need to access the network at the same time, maybe you should choose the router that has the higher performance.

I think there should be more than 100 sessions per user. It's related to the application you used.
For 5120 V3, it should be up to 300 clients. R480T+ V9 should be up to 50 clients. R470T+ V6 should be up to 30 clients.

Nah, 100 sessions are too much for average user. Surely, it could be torrent user or smth like this, but average... maybe 10-20. Just use 'netstat -a' in cmd to check.
