Hello I am frustrated - again it is`n possible to give clients a individual clear name - why not - for other solutions (ubiquiti etc) it`s basic !!!
Got to Android play store - look at screenshot/picture number 4 - Connect Clients: Rick`s iPhone / Android / iPod
How can I give these names - It is Fake ???

Hostnames are set by the users of the client devices. »Someone's iPhone« is the standard name on iPhones. What's more, those names are announced through DHCP and handled solely by the DNS server running elsewhere, but not by Omada Controller, which just queries the local name service.
