Hello everyone, 

I'm looking to purchase a router, for my business, and I need a lot of IP reservations but I couldn't find that info in any router specs, can someone help?

Wifi isn't mandetory for the router abilities.

If you don't mind, maybe you can post how many IP reservation did you need. Then maybe someone can provide the router that can meet your demand.

Ultimetly, all 254 ... but minimum of 160 

If I can also get separately recommendation of routers that support mulptiple subnets, that would be cool as well (also with ability to set high number of reservations.)

TP-Link has two product can meet the demand of DHCP reservation. It's TL-ER5120 V3 and TL-ER6120 V2. They both support 1024 DHCP reservations.

They can pass the data from multiple subnets through the feature of Multi-nets NAT. But they don't support to assign the IP address of multiple subnets because they only have one DHCP server.

For example, if you want to use ER6120 to assign the IP of 192.168.0.0/24 and 192.168.10.0/24, it cannot meet the demand. ER6120 can only assign the IP address that belong to one subnet.

But suppose that you connect a layer3 switch to ER6120 and the switch can assign the IP of 192.168.0.0/24 and 192.168.10.0/24 to your clients. ER6120 can pass the data of all clients. We need to configure Multi-nets NAT on ER6120.

So out of the box, without additional hardware, I can only setup 254 ip addresses right? I can't even activate the multi-subnet feature no?

Or can I setup a network of 192.168.0.0/23 and have the DHCP assign address to all addresses?

ER6120 V2 and ER5120 V3 supports up to 1024 ip addresses. You can set up 192.168.0.0/23, because this is still one subnet.

And please note that we suggest to connect 300 clients at most.

How do you find this info? I’ve got the AX-6000 and can’t get above 95 DHCP clients. Things can’t connect above that. Is this a router limitation or a setting I can adjust? Thank you!

AX-6000 is SOHO Router, ER5120 and ER6120 is SMB Router. Generally SMB Router support to carry on more clients because it needs to work in business environment.

Unfortunately I haven't the information for AX-6000, maybe you can ask TP-Link Support or post in SOHO community for help.
