Firmware 2.4.0, This Doc Here shows there should be an HTTPS enable checkbox but my AP doesn't have it. If it matters, this option also was not in the original 2.2.0 firmware that the AP shipped with.

 

Is this a firmware bug or just a change that is not reflected in the docs?

 

EDIT: Also just noticed there is no "Enable Nvrom" option under system log as shown in the above referenced doc.

 

EDIT2: Also no "Backup Logs" feature as shown in docs.

No need to enable HTTPS anymore, it's on by default. Also, NVRAM option seems to be gone, likewise the save link for the system log (but you can save any web page in your browser as a PDF using the print dialog anyway).

Hi,

 

The reason why we enabled the HTTPS by default is because the Omada APP use HTTPS to communicate with Omada APP in standalone mode. If customer disable the HTTPS in the web management page of EAP, then the Omada APP may not be able to manage Omada EAP anymore.
