I have TP-LINK TL-SG1016DE V2. Can be updated V2 to V3 for resolve troubles with VLAN1?

 

Firmware Version: 1.0.1 Build 20151218 Rel.58739
Hardware Version: TL-SG1016DE 2.0

 

Updating with "TL-SG1016DEv3_en_1.0.1_[20180416-rel55822]_up.bin"  can't be finished.

TL-SG1016DE V2 is a little old. It should have the different hardware from V3. So it cannot be updated to V3.

Sorry to tell you that you cannot upgrade the V2 device to V3 firmware.

They have different hardware design, and that's the reason they have different hardware version.

Not need V3 in general :(

Need just VLAN1 configurable, do it with V2 !!!
