I have two Boradband connection they come with their own modem and it is not possible to connect the cable to wan port directly.

DSL1 router IP ( Broad band with Dynamic IP assignment )- 192.168.1.22/24

DSL 2 ( VDSL) router IP - 192.168.1.33/24

is it possible to use the 470T+ to load balance connection with the same LAN segment or use the device to failover to the second DSL when primary is not available.

any help in this regard will be appreciated.

regards,

Vikas

Hi Sir

I think what you want is the Link Backup function.

You can refer to the FAQ: https://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-2133.html

Well, I have only tl-er6120v2, so I checked there and there is no error, when you configure IPs from the same subnetwork on 2 WANs with enabled Load Balance. I do not know, how routing will work though... Link Backup should work with no problem then, while I am not sure about Load Balance. So, if you have the latest hw version of TL-R470T+ (new WebGui as in TL-ER6120v2/v3), it will probably work.
