Router Settings Changed
Our office has a TP-Link Router that networks all computers and gives access to the Internet via a connected cable modem. Yesterday, suddenly everyone lost Internet. Looking at available wireless we found the name of the 2.4G connection had changed and did not work. A new 5G connection was available for the equipment that was compatible (some could not recognize the 5G). The cable company verified that they added a 5G channel, but theirs is NOT the new 5G in the router. In fact, they have no access to our inter-office network router.
- No one in our office made updates to the TP-Link router. Any idea how connection names and settings changes were made?
- How do we fix the 2.4G connection?
