I have set up 2 vlans using a vigor router. Works well but changing to an easy smart switch SG1024DE to take some load off the router.

I have set up 2 vlans using the port method for simplicity. I want one pc to have access to both vlans. I can assign the port to both on the vigor router but cannot seem to do so with the switch. As soon as I include it in the second vlan it is removed from the first.

Is this not possible with this switch? THis is for a small home office so setting up the vlans using the other methods seems more complex.

Thanks in advance

Hi mjbarnard

Yes, it can be supported by the TP-Link switch.

https://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-788.html

Here is a FAQ about the configuration of VLAN, you can have a try.
