Hi Kay

It can.

I replied in your post, kindly check. : )

OC200 is just same management structure as the software controller as per my tests. I just finished immigration into OC200 last week and VLAN is also working.

FAQ1365, 1364, 1363, 1362, 1361 give guidelines of different scenarios. https://www.tp-link.com/en/download/EAP225.html#FAQs

So when are these going to be available?  October is nearly over and there's no signs of them available anywhere in the US.

Hi Miked315,

So sorry for delay. With the confirmation from our sales director, you can buy from our distributor in 15th, Nov. or Amazon in 22th, Nov.

Hi Paulbds,

Does OC200 access the Internet? The cloud LED will light on after OC200 access the Internet and you can longin via cloud https://omada.tplinkcloud.com/login. Of course you can login locally through web UI or app. Please read the Installation Guide for your reference.

@paulbds Dont' worry about that. It is starting up. You should wait several minutes and then you can access it. Te be honest, it is a long time. So, we had optimized the OC200 startup waiting page and add a progress bar prompt in the latest firmware. And we will short the startup time in the future firmware.

I have received an OC200 today and am suffering the same 'starting up' splash screen.  I have waited 15 minutes for it to clear, but no progress.  Then it seems to lose it's IP address and Chrome broser says "This site can’t be reached 192.168.X.XXX refused to connect."

I have also tried disconnecting it from my LAN and connecting to it using the fallback IP 192.168.0.253, but I get the same problem.

Any advice?

It may becaues the IP address of OC200 is not stable. You can check your DHCP server to make sure the OC200 had gotten a available IP address. Please make sure the DHCP Server is work well. And you can try to ping the IP address to check if the PC can communicate with the OC200.

Has anyone completed a migration from the software based controller to the physical controller? I am waiting the arrival of my OC200 and am wondering what to expect during the migration. The OC200 will not have the same IP as the PC that hosted the software based controller. Does anyone think that might be an issue?
