Setup ER6120 on VLAN (virtual server behind WAN router)
Region : Denmark
Model : TL-ER6120
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 1.0.2 Build 20120719 Rel.42888
ISP : TDC, 10Mb fiber
I have a strange issue, seems to relate to the internal routing in the ER6120.
I have the ER6120-WAN sitting on a VLAN/Virtual server on the DMZ port of my router, the ER6120-LAN is connected to my LAN.
From the LAN I can access the ER6120, and the ER6120/diagnostics can access the LAN.
From WAN i can connect with VPN/PPTP to the ER6120, the client is visible in the PPTP tunnel list. The client can access the ER6120 GUI, both on the WAN IP address and on the LAN IP address (I have opened the management interface to the PPTP IP pool IP addresses). But the VPN client cannot access any other hosts on the LAN network.
Questions:
* Does anyone have an idea to resolve this / debug it.
* Is there a better way to set it up. Until everything is up, I will not touch the WAN router - it will impact the clients.
Best regards
Casper
