Model : CPE510

Hardware Version :

Firmware Version : CPE610(UN)_v1.0_20180327

ISP : Several!

Hello,
I have two CPE510's with one configured as an AP and the other as a CLIENT, I attempted to enable the Dynamic DNS (DynDNS or DDNS) capability (on both), however, the menu item is grayed out and not modifiable! There is no "Enable" check box!

I am running firmware "CPE610(UN)_v1.0_20180327" (based on the recommendation from another thread, due to the problems I was experiencing on another unrelated RF link reliability issue).

Does anyone know how to enable the feature via the SSH command line? Looking at the HTML source, it seems to be using a "controller.js" and "model.js" scheme with defines to control various capabilities and the Dynamic DNS feature should be enable...

Thanks.

DynDNS makes only sense if your CPE connects to the Internet through PPPoE or gets a dynamic IP for the WAN IP. It is therefore available only in AP Client Router mode (also called " WISP client" mode) in a WISP scenario and hence grayed out in AP and Client modes.
