wanted to check and see when a new firmware will be available for the TL-ER6020 v1.0 VPN router. I find it hard to believe there has not been any issues, security or fixes that need to be done.

hi, we have 3x TL-ER6020 and the same problems... the software support is on tp-link a disaster !

I came on here looking to see if they are ever going to update the firmware for this router. I purchased mine less than a year ago brand new and am now finding out it is V1 and no updates for YEARS. Come on

I think if there is no new FW published on tplink's official website, then there is no. What problem are you guys faced with? I'm a big fan of tp-link. Maybe i can help.

I'm on the same boat. Just bought one for our company, and was surprised by the V1 hardware that has no updates since 2015. And over that, we are having some issues with the VPN. This is really sad :/

Please you guys don't worry about the official firmware published date. The firmware release is coming with bug fixed. If there is no bugs or something else, isn't it a good thing that there is no firmware released?

One issue is that updated firmware will patch security issues with regard to new and emerging threats. This just shows their lack of support for their productswhich will influence my desire to purchase from them in the future

i don't think it lack of support. I am a big tplink fan and purchase a lot of their products. Once I have any problem, their tech support is always in time.

Since the V1 is still being sold as new, they should continue to update the firmware for that version
