EAP245 portal not working
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hi all,
Today i installed 3x EAP245.
I updated the firmware to the latest i could find (the one from 170828) on all of them with no issues.
I also installed the latest (again that i could find) EAP controller (v2.5.1) on my windows server 2012.
Most of the configuration has been done (via the controller) and all is working except for a guest SSID with portal authentication (Facebook).
In the Controller, Under basic Wireless Setting, i create the guest SSID, but there is NO portal option to select, it simply doesn't exist.
If i log in on each EAP245 separately, the option is there for the newly created guest SSID, i can select it, but when going back to the Controller, that doesn't seem to have any effect.
So it seems as if the Controller doesn't catch the setting from the EAPs, more so, it looks as if they forgot to implement this setting in the Controller software.
Went through the manuals for both the EAP and the controller, but no solution there.
Could this be a mismatch between the controller software version and the EAP firmware version?
Anybody else encountered this problem? Or any ideas?
I thought about an IE11 issue maybe (yes, the 2012 server still uses this as default browser and as a result the controller uses it), but since this is the only thing missing it is highly unlikely.
Hope you guys can help me out...
Thanks
Tom
