I am using TP-Link VPN Router TL-ER6120 and trying to block youtube.com for my entire office but it is not working I have tried keyword and url check box but they don't work I have attached screen shots kindly view it and resolved this issue

my firmware is update to TL-ER6120_V1_140113

Hi

The Router can't block https site. You can check if the website is https.

this model of router dont block any https url, i have the same problem and i dont know how i will doit

you can try block de 443 port, this ports corresponds by default to https protocol, its works, but... this action blocks any https web page...

another solution may be works for you... first get de ip address of the service you want to block (ej. 216.58.218.142 "youtube"); second create an new service like this





and for the final step, you need to do this




create a new access rule, where you define and select de new service called https and specify the ip address of the web page you want to block like in te image... and .... rocks.... this works fine i tested already and works great... note: in this example the blocking works for an hour every monday... you can indicate in the rule the schedule you need.... always it wil be right in you case...

Thanks bro. That's a good way to block some websites. But maybe will be little complex when the website has multi-web server. Anyway, thanks for the share.
