I purchased three new EAP225 APs, and when I go through the setup process, I am finding that two of them cannot be adopted. These were brand-new in-box.

The Controller says the password has been changed. I have tried manually entering admin/admin - as well as doing a reset on the devices. Nothing seems to be working.

Any suggestions on something else to try?

Hi, did you try to set the passwords on EAPs first?
Try to set them manually end then try to adopt them. Controller will complain that passwords are not default, but it will allow you to enter your credentials and eventually you will import them.

I did attempt that, yes - neither will allow me to log in with the default password.
